Every effort is made to make your cat as comfortable and happy as possible during
its stay with us. In order to help us do this, we would appreciate it if customers
kept to their agreed appointment times and let us know in advance of any variation
of agreed time.
Cats will only be allowed entry on production of a valid certificate of
inoculation against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis.
Please check your cat for fleas, worms and ear mites – where possible
treat before coming to the cattery. If the cat has any existing health problems
– requiring special diet, medication etc, it is crucial that we know
of this in advance. You will be asked to bear the veterinary costs for any problem
the cat has before arriving in the cattery. The above also applies to problems
arising from old age and to eating problems. We would also like to know
if the cat has either recently or in the past been involved in any sort
of accident. Any history of cystitis must be disclosed to aid early detection.
- Booking time:
Delivery and collection times are by appointment. If you find that you cannot
stick to the agreed time, please ring and arrange a new time; we will strive to be as flexible as possible. It is recommended
that cats are brought in the day before departure, as they tend to go missing.
Customers have missed flights because of this.
We are happy to administer medication including injections.
- Changes of booking dates:
Outside peak periods bookings can be changed with no penalty. Within peak
periods the reduction or cancellation of the booking will be charged at
the full rate unless the days cancelled can be let to another customer.
All new customers will be asked for a deposit of 25% of the value of the
booking, which will be deducted from the final amount.
By cheque or cash. We are sorry but we do not accept Euros, Credit cards
and Debit cards. Payment is due on collection. Where the person collecting
is not the person delivering, then either a post-dated cheque must accompany
the delivery or the person collecting must be responsible for the payment.
We make a great effort to get to know and befriend your cat and hope your cat
returns to you fit, healthy and happy. If this is not the case, we do want to
know about it.
